Spring Is In The Air And So Are Elections!!!
As you read this message, residents of Lone Tree are filling out ballots for Lone Tree Mayor and City Council, due on May 7. With Republicans on the ballot, we know we will be in good hands! Tell your Lone Tree neighbors about your Republican candidates, and offer to deliver a ballot to the drop box (up to 5 ballots at time). We wish the best of luck to all the Republican candidates!
For all Douglas County residents, ballots for the June 25 election are incoming, and, boy, what a long ballot it will be! This ballot will include the vacancy election for someone to complete the currently-empty U.S. Congress District 4 (CD4) seat (remainder of Ken Buck’s term), and the primary election to set candidates for the next full term for CD4 Congressman. TAKE NOTE:
- The CD4 Vacancy Election is at the bottom section of the ballot – don’t forget to mark our Republican nominee, Greg Lopez to fill out the term! We simply cannot afford to let this seat go to the Democrat operative opponent and loose our narrow majority in the Congress.
- The CD4 Primary Election on the top section of the ballot offers many Republican choices. We’ve had each candidate speak at a DCRW Luncheon Meeting and hope they can join us at our May 15 meeting. Whomever you chose, be sure to encourage your friends to vote Republican so we can keep this seat red!
All candidates need money to win – to “get out the vote” and share their names/platforms with voters. Please bring your checkbook, cards, checkbook, and phones to our May 15 meeting to offer your contributions! On May 15, DCRW’s SILENT AUCTION and LIVE AUCTION proceeds will go to the State and House Senate Majority Funds. This will amplify our Mighty 19 in the House and increase our bench in the Senate. Bid often and high to help stop the insane Democrats at the Capitol! Look for many fun and patriotic items, including:
- Sheriff Weekly Ride a Long
- Gino Campana Pizza Making Feast
- Patriotic Jewelry
- Golf Goodies
- Jack Phillips / Masterpiece Cakeshop Items
We will open the MAY 15 SILENT AUCTION bidding early – 10:30 am – to allow you ample time to browse and bid!
And of course, don’t forget a < $20 cash contribution or one-time check to Douglas County Republican Women Small Donor Committee. These funds will go to specific candidates. Fill the red table buckets to fill the red bench in Colorado!
