Ballots have dropped, and you can expect yours the mailbox any day now.  There are MANY measures on the ballot, in addition to candidates and judges.  DCRW aims to help you make sense of it all, and provide you with some information to make your choices.

I’ve attended nearly a dozen sessions to learn about the many measures on our November ballot.  These sessions were presented by different groups and speakers, with varying points of view.  As I synthesized the information for myself, I decided to share it with my DCRW member friends, to save you time and give you straight information, with no bias or opinion.

Those who attend our luncheon on October 16 will also hear Kathleen Chandler of the Independence Institute share some detail on the biggest questions on the ballot.  Independence Institute’s focus is on personal freedom and conservative fiscal management, so we know it will be valuable information to you.

As discussed at our last meeting, DCRW raised over $15,000 in less than 8 months for Republican candidates – the updated tally is almost $20,000!  Those funds have been disbursed to benefit our House and Senate majority campaigns, and for a gigantic billboard on I25 (in conjunction with CFRW).  In addition, our Small Donor Committee will contribute to campaigns of two strong, hard-working, female Republican State Senate Candidates.  Be assured that your individual contributions in our fundraisers is doing good work.

Please continue your hard work for the candidates of your choice!  You will find me knocking doors and spreading good news about Republican candidates.  Your choice may be to make calls, speak to groups, have 1 on 1 conversations, honk & wave, or chase ballots.  And you can always post a pic to share our billboard message:  “Had Enough?  Vote Republican!”   Know that your candidates appreciate it and thank you!

Last but not least, tell your friends about the Republican candidates, and how they are dedicated to conservative fiscal management, public safety, and family values.  When people discuss the issues that impact their lives, they tend to vote Republican.
