President’s Message October 2017
This last month has been one of devastation to our Country! With the hurricanes in Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico, it seemed like we could take no more! And then came the Las Vegas massacre! What a heartbreaking tragedy! As I’m writing this, we still do not know the reason why this man did such a horrendous act of evil. We have seen the worst and best of humanity. But the acts of heroism shown to the victims of the hurricanes and the victims of the slaughter in Vegas go to shine a light on how wonderful this Country is and how we care for our fellow citizens. We are blessed to have such a great and dedicated police force, first responders, fireman, doctors, nurses, and veterans, etc., plus just…

I hope all of you had a safe and Happy Labor Day weekend . . . this can’t be the end of summer, can it be?! So soon? As this is being written, we are all disheartened and concerned about another Hurricane headed for Florida . . . Irma looks to be catastrophic so our prayers are with all the people in Irma’s path. Both Texas and Florida++ victims will be needing our help so please be as generous as you can in supporting relief efforts! Unbelievably, Hurricane Jose is yet another one churning towards Florida.
