WELCOME BACK, I am so delighted to host an in person meeting February 17th, with a great speaker, Ben Martin who is a Constitution expert. We are all Zoom fatigued and this meeting will give us a chance to start getting back to, do I dare say, normal. Please make your reservation now, because with COVID limiting headcounts, we must know how many are coming.
This is a new year, starting a month late, but starting. Dues are due, we have begun working on our 2021 Membership Directory and if your dues are not paid by February 17th, you will miss being in the Directory. We would not want that to happen. If you have not paid and will not be at the February meeting, please go to dcrw.org and pay online now.
Regardless of how down we are from the election results and what is happening in Washington now, we are going to borrow a quote from Albert Einstein to follow, “Life is like riding a bicycle, to keep your balance, you must keep moving.” We must keep moving, UPWARD, so mark your calendar for the third Wednesday of the month to be at Lone Tree Golf & Hotel for DCRW, to get informed, keep informed and let us all work together so that what happened in November will not happen again. We are lucky in Douglas County to have held our own in keeping our slots filled with Republicans. We cannot always depend on that being the case, so we are going to all keep our balance and move that (Republican) bicycle forward, together.
