My friends, it is an important time in our great State. Your neighbors need you to carry the flag and promote our most important civic duty: TO VOTE!
In Douglas County Republican Women, we share the common goal and desire to elect Republicans to local and higher office, so that we may be represented by those who share our values and want to retain the character of our County and our State.
I ask you then to speak to everyone whom you encounter about the importance of voting for the BOTH the 4th Congressional District Vacancy AND the 4th Congressional District Primary. One is at the bottom of the ballot, and the other is at the top.
Greg Lopez is our sole Republican candidate to fill the CD4 – fighting against 3 other candidates who pose a clear threat to our freedom and independence. We need to send Lopez to Washington, D.C. in order to keep our Republican majority in the Senate. We simply cannot afford to lose Colorado’s seat to a progressive political operative who brags that she will ignore us and all that we hold dear. Tell your uncommitted and unaffiliated friends that a vote for Greg Lopez is a vote for their own pocketbook, their own future, and their own family. And if some unaffiliated or left-leaning friends doubt that the Democratic party has abandoned them, remind them that the labels of today have obscured our important common values. Share with them that their own Democratic icon, John F. Kennedy himself promoted our most important Republican principals: “This Country does not forget God or the soldier. Upon both we now depend.” JFK’s 1962 Veteran’s Day address at the end the Cuban Missile Crisis.
