It is hard to believe this is the May newsletter and after the May luncheon, we will be taking our three month summer recess until September.
We may have a meeting recess, but we have a very important Primary Election on June 26 and an even more important election in November. Your candidates will need your help. Let’s put our best foot forward during this campaign season, so we don’t have an ugly primary.
Wayne Williams is facing a tough race for Secretary of State and George Brauchler for Attorney General – hop on board with one or both of them and let them know you are willing to volunteer.
As announced, we will have an auction at our October meeting, and hope to raise enough money to make a sizeable contribution to our State House and Senate races. But, to do this we need your donations to the auction as well as your bids in October. This would also be a great opportunity to invite your friends and neighbors to our luncheon to help them become more involved and informed.
If you already have an item you plan to donate to the auction, bring it to the May meeting as we have already begun to accumulate items.
REMINDER — DCRW will be co-hosting the CFRW District VI Luncheon on June 2, with check-in starting at 11am program at 11:30, it will be held at Valley Country Club in Centennial with a cost of $25 and our keynote speaker will be Congressman Mike Coffman. Please make a reservation, as we don’t want the Cherry Creek Republican Women to have more in attendance than DCRW.
Good bye for the summer ladies … let’s come back from summer vacations energized for the fight to take back the Governor’s Mansion.
Wishing you all safe travels and fun in the sun! Stay informed…stay connected…and reach out to your friends and neighbors and invite them to join in with us as we work to elect Republicans.
